San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge
Quintessentially San Francisco- The Golden Gate Bridge remains to be one of the seven wonders of the modern world due to its enigmatic beauty, vast stature and bright orange color. Built in 1937 and spanning 1.7 miles, this single suspension bridge connects the communities of San Francisco and the Marin Headlands. Supported by two cables rooted on shore, it's the 7,000 feet of wires stretched along the top of the towers that make this the most recognizable and famous landmark in San Francisco. Take a drive or bike along this elevated path for breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay AreaDetails
